Admissions
Applications to our school open in September and close on January 15 each year. Notification letters or emails, including an offer of a place, are sent out around mid-April.
You must apply for a primary school place one year before your child can start school. You will need to apply when your child is three or has just turned four. If you would like to request for your child to be educated outside of their chronological age group, this should be discussed with our Headteacher after an offer has been made by the local authority. See the Primary Education Guide in Barnet.
Parents do not pay fees at our school, as we are a state primary school.
Applying for a place at Dollis Primary School
Applications for places at our school are administered by the London Borough of Barnet Council and families must apply via the Barnet Council website. We have two classes per year group, which means that every September we can take up to 60 pupils in our Reception classes.
Even if you have a child already attending our school, you must apply for a sibling; siblings are not automatically enrolled, and an application must be made via the Barnet Council website.
