Barnet Athletics Championship

On Monday 18th May, twenty-nine children from Dollis competed in the Barnet Athletics Championship at StoneX Stadium.

The children competed in a range of events including shot put, long jump, speed bounce, vortex throw, 400m, 80m sprint and relays.

Some of our standout athletes were Kevin, who won the Year 6 400m and achieved 3rd place in the 80m sprint final, and Jason, who achieved 2nd place in the 80m sprint final. Noah achieved 3rd place in the Year 4 60m final, while Amarisa achieved 4th place in her 80m sprint final.

In the field events, Omar achieved 1st place in the Year 5 boys’ shot put, Paula achieved 2nd place in the
Year 6 girls’ shot put, and Mohibullah achieved 1st place in the Year 5 boys’ vortex throw. The Year 6 boys achieved 1st place in the relay final, while the Year 6 girls achieved 2nd place in their relay final.
